paralyzed – Souly Had

I love a good falsetto. I love neosoul music. This is a perfect song for me to enjoy. I’ll admit, I don’t know any others by Souly Had, but I really dig the vibe and sound of this one. It’s one that I listen to a lot of times in the morning on the way to work, with the relaxed energy that this song exudes being a great way to start the day. It reminds me a bit of one of my all-time favorite artists, Mac Miller in some ways. It would be unfair to compare the two artists in any way, but with great instrumentation that, until the time of writing, I assumed was a guitar but am now leaning towards it being a ukulele, leading us through the song and some introspection lyrically, it’s easy to imagine Mac laying down some laid-back verses in a similar fashion, or maybe even as a feature. This is one of those songs that I can listen to at almost any time, whatever my mood is.

I plan on checking out more of Souly Had’s music as soon as I’m done writing this post, and I hope y’all do the same after reading!
