Swimming – Flawed Mangos

I’ve been feeling pretty under the weather so far this week, and haven’t been listening to music as in-depth as I usually do. I’ve been listening to a ton of chill stuff that is easy to get lost in, in particular, an artist who goes by “Flawed Mangoes.”

Flawed Mangoes is an independent musician who makes some pretty great and creative instrumentals with his guitar and computer. All his music tends to focus on the use of reverb & delay and the killswitch on his Telecaster. It’s all very relaxed. For me, it’s the perfect music to “float away” with, or totally lock in and focus on a task at hand. It’s pretty cool how there can be two sides to the same coin in that regard. If you like the song I’m featuring today, “Swimming” I definitely recommend his other stuff, but I will warn, as cool as it is, there is not much differentiation in his style. He released a debut album, Killswitch Melodies in 2023 and a new project, The Unwavering Hand this past September.
