Where Did Our Love Go (Live) – The J Geils Band

Just perusing my music library, there are usually some cool gems I can find that I’d totally forgotten about. In this case, The J Geils Band covering The Supremes‘ classic “Where Did Our Love Go“.

I love the guitar work here by John Geils. The whole song has a happy-go-lucky vibe to it that is exemplified by frontman Peter Wolf‘s infectious energy that comes through the audio. Adding this to the list of songs I’d want to play live if I ever had a band. As you can see in the video (different performance than the recording) a J Geils Band concert was the place to be back in the day.
